What is your favorite part about making sparkling wine?

At CARBONISTE we put the bubbles in the bottle to make the best sparkling wine California has to offer. Using traditional sparkling wine-making methods means we are diligently working with each bottle of CARBONISTE that finds its way to you. From harvest to disgorging, it is a process with many steps and details. Watch or read below as Dan and Jacqueline share more about their favorite part of the sparkling wine process.

Jacqueline: What’s your favorite part of making sparkling wine?

Dan: Drinking it!

Jacqueline: Ha, ha! Yeah!

Dan: The rest is a whole bunch of work. It kinda sucks! Don’t make sparkling wine!

Jacqueline: Normal wine has a busy season at harvest and the rest of the year is pretty mellow. In sparkling wine, we’re working all year round. Ha, ha!

Dan: Never stops!

Jacqueline: Dan’s right. That is my favorite too. I love the fact that with making sparkling wine you can work all day and craft a product, work all year and craft a product and know it’s story. Then you can sit down at the table and put it on the table and it tells its story to your guests and your friends and family. So, that’s my favorite part too.

Cheers!
